Sam Coates - Musical Director
Sam was the musical director for the UK Tour of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie when it toured 2021/2. He trained at The MTA in London (MD Mentorship Scheme under Annemarie Lewis Thomas), the University of Surrey, and Birmingham Conservatoire. Most recently, he worked as musical supervisor and orchestral manager on Nativity: The Musical (Bridge House Theatre, Warwick), cover conductor on Falkland Sound (Royal Shakespeare Company) and musical director on premiere installs of ‘Rock Royalty’ and ‘Total Divas’ for MSC Cruises. In 2021. Other work includes MD and arranger for West End Live Lounge, a charity concert series spanning over 3 years at the West End’s Lyric Theatre and The Other Palace, starring performers from across the West End and beyond, musical director for Christmas pantomimes at Blackpool Grand Theatre / UK Productions since 2015, New Jersey Nights (Australian & UK Tours), The Last 5 Years, and Closer Than Ever (both Edinburgh Festival). He has also deputised on keyboards for a number of UK tours including The Color Purple, Joseph, Flashdance and Club Tropicana. Artists worked with include: Vanessa Mae (international violinist), Clem Burke (drummer for Blondie), Mrs Kasha Davis (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Danielle Hope (Live at Zedel’s) and many others across the music world.
Benjamin Di'Ath - Choreographer
Benjamin attended the London Studio Centre graduating from “Intoto” Dance Company in 2013. Since then he has worked extensively across the industry, performing in TV, Film and Theatre within the UK and internationally.
Credits include: Pet Shop Boys (Royal Opera House), “CarMen” (Secret Opera Company), Siobhan Davies (Sadlers Wells) Celebrity Cruise Line Dancer and Aerial Captain “Cinderella” (Disney) Step One Dance Company, New York and The Little Mermaid (Metta Theatre)
He also works as a teacher and choreographer for many of the South West performing arts schools / colleges and teaches at dance competitions around the UK and Ireland. Benjamin was our choreographer for SIX Teen Edition in 2023.
Zoe Elizabeth Waters - Resident Director
Zoe Waters is a Cornish actor, singer, performer and director.
Zoe trained in Musical Theatre at Bodywork Company International, and has also got a BA HONS in theatre and performance from Guildford School of Acting.
Zoe had her debut performance with Coppice Theatre in 2020 as an emerging artist and is now an associate artist with the company.
Zoe has also created her own work, including an installation for Kneehigh Theatre’s ‘Random Acts of Art’ and for the Welcome Back Fund commissioned by Hall For Cornwall.

Lizzy Connolly - Guest Director
Lizzy Connolly has recently been seen in PYGMALION at the Old Vic, and in ASSASSINS at Chichester Theatre.
Lizzy is a brilliant theatre actor, with performances that include CABARET in Paris playing 'Sally Bowles', ON THE TOWN at Regent’s Park, SWEET CHARITY at the Donmar Warehouse, TWILIGHT ZONE at the Almeida Theatre, ONCE IN A LIFETIME at the Young Vic, INDECENT PROPOSAL at Southwark Playhouse and OKLAHOMA at the BBC proms, being in the original casts of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS in the West End.
On screen, Lizzy will next be seen in CRIMINAL RECORD on Apple TV. Other screen work includes DOCUMENTARY NOW, BBC's THE CANTERVILLE GHOST, film THE FESTIVAL, PLEBS, CALL THE MIDWIFE and playing Ellie Goulding in THE WINDSORS.
We had the privilege of working with Lizzy on our youth production of Six Teen Edition in 2023 and so grateful for her returning to us again to work with our cast at the start of the process.
